Secret Game from Noir – Sheet Music Arrangement for Violin and Piano

The sheet music offered here is for a violin and piano arrangement of the song “Secret Game” from the anime Noir. “Secret Game” is composed by Yuki Kajiura and used as Chloe’s theme.

I arranged this in 2007 shortly after hearing the first part of the song, the part arranged here, and being rather enchanted by the lullaby lightness and simplicity of the duet and accompaniment.

Later, I learned the actual anime’s subject and topic and general plot. Chloe is a child assassin. The person she pursues is a child assassin. One of the other protagonists is an assassin. The last important character is a nutty lady who tried to manipulate the situation around all the assassins. That was a little peculiar to discover, but, musically speaking, Chloe’s theme did not make the story -that- much of a surprise once I overcame my surprise.

Also, almost all of the music from Noir is quite beautiful, even if I think the story is a little odd.

The lyrics are:

come to me
we never be apart
the sun you see is me

no more pain
no memories remain
now you can play with me

so love me now you are the one
I give you all the stars I see
the rain is gone no pain is here
my heart I beg you all your love

come to me
we never be apart
the sun you see is me

no more pain
no memories remain
now you can play
all the games with me
